Saturday was an excellent day in Nairobi. I started it off by attending a yoga class put on by the Africa Yoga Project, who use yoga to empower communities. The classes are free and everyone's encouraged to attend. The atmosphere was fantastic for a session of Power Yoga. The dance studio we were in at the Sarakasi Dome was packed with no space between mats and the instructor told us to communicate to our neighbors with our breath. After class, they provided a subsidized Indian lunch at the nearby Hare Krishna temple. In the afternoon I went second-hand cloth shopping at Gikomba Market where I bought some jeans for $6 :) Then it was on to St Patty's day celebrations, starting off at Brew Bistro and ending up at Tree House.
